Hi, I’m Prea,
Thank you so much for visiting my website and learning about how I can help you feel AWESOME through living a healthier more active life.

I have always had a passion in health and fitness. From a young age, I witnessed my mother’s struggle with her weight and health, and I learnt the importance of motivation, momentum, teamwork and support to achieve life-changing goals. To help my mother lose weight, I accompanied her to the gym and from that point on I took an active interest in exercise, lifestyle, health and nutrition.

 

Fitness, health and wellbeing are now a core part of my everyday life. Over the years I have amassed a vast working knowledge of exercise and nutrition, and my thirst for knowledge continues. I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist through the globally recognised company, Premier Global.

#mondaymotivation felt so good to be back in the gym today ☺️ although people were a little shocked with my lockdown transformation 🤰🏽.

Who else felt like it was Christmas 🎄 today; with the first gym session of the year? 🤩 waking up, fuelling up and pure excitement to get to the playground 😃

Throughout my pregnancy 🤰🏽 I’ve kept active, going for daily walks, doing 4-5 home workout 🏋🏾‍♀️sessions and 1-2 yoga 🧘🏾‍♂️ sessions. I feel great looking after myself and my baby 👶🏽💙🥰

The benefits of exercising in pregnancy include;
🤰🏽 a reduction in backaches, constipation, bloating, swelling and related discomfort
🤰🏽 a boost your mood as your release endorphins and a raise in energy levels because yes moving will make you less lethargic
🤰🏽 will help you sleep better because it’s best to sleep 😴 before baby 👶🏽 arrives 😅
🤰🏽 it prevents excess weight gain, gaining too much weight or gaining weight too quickly in pregnancy 🤰🏽 can cause issues such as gestational diabetes
🤰🏽 helps to gain muscle tone, strength and endurance; making you feel great 😊
🤰🏽 a lower risk of gestational diabetes

Remember while getting back to the gym;
🏋🏾‍♀️ fuel correctly pre workout with carbs and protein
🏋🏾‍♀️ make sure you take time to warm up properly and cool down after to minimise DOMs (delayed onset of muscle soreness)
🏋🏾‍♀️ ease yourself back into it, start light there is no rush
🏋🏾‍♀️ follow a structured plan
🏋🏾‍♀️ enjoy yourself
